About Us

Pharmacare International, Inc., based in Honolulu, Hawaii, is a pharmacy consulting and management firm offering its services throughout the world. Our tailor-made approach to pharmaceutical care helps meet the demands of an ever-changing healthcare environment and eases the burden carried by pharmacies and hospitals today.

Our parent company, Pharmacare, was established in Honolulu, Hawaii in March of 1983. It was the first company of its kind in the state and thrives today as its leading provider of home infusion therapies and nutrition support.

Building upon the extensive retail and infusion pharmacy experience of its co-founders, Pharmacare International, Inc., continues to develop new and innovative healthcare services. By designing system and services that specifically address the unique needs of our clients, we support the demand for improved healthcare systems around the world.

The Founders

Byron Yoshino and Rick Sakurada, the cofounders, have been active in the Hawaii healthcare market for more than 20 years. They built Pharmacare, a home infusion therapy and nutrition company, into the state's largest home infusion provider. They continue to be pioneers in the local pharmaceutical industry.
